Apple Red Chile Chutney Recipe
Ingredients:
4 peeled Granny-smith apples; cored & chopped coarsely
1/2 c of sugar (brown)
8 garlic cloves; minced
4 pcs fresh chilies (red); diced
1 Tbsp of marjoram (fresh); chopped
1/3 c of cider-vinegar
1 c of water
1/2 c of toasted nuts (pine)
Instructions:
Place chilies and apples in thick saucepan w/ sugar, garlic, water and vinegar. Boil over mid-heat. Adjust heat then loosely cover your pan.
Allow mixture to simmer, stir occasionally about 30 mins. Add the nuts and marjoram. Cool completely. Refrigerate.
