Black-Eyed Peas With Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients:
1 lb meat (caribou)
1 large-sized onion; mince
1 inch slice ginger; chop finely
4 tsp of minced garlic
1 tsp of pepper
1/2 tsp of salt
2 Tbsps mustard (oil)
1 tsp powdered cumin
1 tsp of tumeric
1/2 c of broth (or water)
Instruction:
Using a saucepan, heat mustard oil then add tumeric and stir in spices (exclude the garlic) and mix thoroughly. Cut meat to cubes then put inside pan then fry til brown on all sides.
Stir in garlic and then pour water in. Next, bring to boil then simmer til meat becomes soft and sauce is thick (for about thirty minutes).
