Cabbage Carrot & Onion Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 of a small-sized cabbage
1 Tbsp of ghee
3 pcs of medium-sized cabbage
1/4 tsp of mustard (seeds)
1/2 tsp of cumin
2 pcs of large-sized onions
1/4 tsp of turmeric
1/4 tsp of powdered chili
1/4 tsp of coriander leaves
1/4 tsp of powdered cinnamon
Salt (to taste)
Instruction:
Shred cabbage and using another bowl, slice carrots to 1/8 thick round pieces. Peel and chop onions into smaller pieces.
Saute onion using butter in a heated pan then add the mustard seeds. Stir well for thirty seconds then add coriander, cumin and powdered turmeric.
Add carrots and continue to stir fry. Cover and simmer for five minutes, then add in cabbage. Stir to mix well then sprinkle with cinnamon, powdered chili and salt. Cover again and cook five minutes more.
Mix again, replace cover then cook another eight minutes. Serve this meal hot.
