Cabbage, Carrot & Onion Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 sm head of a cabbage
2 pcs big onions
3 pcs medium-sized carrots
1 tbsp ghee
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp mustard (seeds)
1/4 tsp powdered chili
1/4 tsp coriander
Salt for seasoning
1/4 tsp powdered cinnamon
Instructions:
Slice cabbage in small pcs. In another container, slice carrots to thin slices. Peel the onions then slice them in small pcs too.
Into a medium pan, melt some margarine/butter then saute onions until they are soft before adding in mustard seeds. 30 secs. after add in turmeric, coriander and cumin. Mix well.
Add carrots then saute. Cover with lid for about 5 mins. Next, add in cabbages and mix everything together. Season with powdered chili, salt & powdered cinnamon. Cover and let sit for about 5 more mins.
Turn mixture over in your pan then make sure they wont stick to its bottom. Cover and let sit for 8 more mins. If you’re wanting softer curry, cover your mixture a while longer/
Serves 4. Best served warm or hot.
