Cabbage With Coconut Recipe
Ingredients:
5 Tbsps of oil
Pinch of mustard (seeds)
2 pcs chilies (green); seed & chop
2 lbs of finely chopped cabbage
1/4 tsp of turmeric powder
1 tsp of salt
Dash of sugar
2.5 tsps of mustard (dry)
2 Tbsps of water
3/4 c freshly grated coconut
Instruction:
Cook mustard (seeds) in hot oil til they start popping. Stir in chilies, turmeric powder and cabbagge then cook for five minutes carefully. Put on cover and continue to cook til cabbage becomes soft.
Combine (dry) mustard with water and make it paste. Stir this in with rest of the ingredients inside a pan. Cook and stir til liquid is absorbed then serve together with steamed rice (or bread).
