Adrak Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps. of ginger (fresh); grated
3/4 tsp. of salt
2 c. of water or stock
1 Tbsp. of toasted cumin seeds
1 pc. lemon; juiced
1/2 tsp. of black pepper
A pinch of coriander leaves (fresh)
Instructions:
Put stock and ginger into pot, letting it boil. Allow to simmer until water is reduced to half or for around 30 min.
Next, add cumin, pepper and salt. Simmer mixture for about 2 min. Pour in the lemon extract and use corainder to garnish.
This is an excellent appetizer to any meal, also a very good remedy for colds. This serves 4.
