Chicken Curry (Murga) Recipe
Ingredients:
2-1/2 lbs of chicken (skinned)
1 tsp of garam masala
1/4 c of oil (vegetable oil)
1/2 c of water
3 tsps of salt
1 c of tomato; chopped finely
1-1/2 c of onion; chopped finely
1-1/2 tsps of ginger (fresh); chopped
1 tsp of garlic; chopped finely
1 tsp of vinegar
Chili (dried)
Instructions:
Cut the skinned chicken and separate the thighs and legs, back then split the breast. Heat the oil above (high) heat then add the onions; cook until it becomes golden, but not burnt.
Add ginger, tomatoes, and garlic; cook till it becomes a smoothened paste. Add the prepared chicken and water; let it boil then season salt.
Reduce the heat and cover. Add the chili if preferred. Stir the mixture constantly so as to prevent burning.
When chicken has cooked, add the vinegar then cook it for 5 more mins above gentle heat. Sprinkle the garam masala then serve at once.
