Chapatis Recipe 3
Ingredients:
1-1/2 c of flour (unbleached)
1/2 c of flour (whole wheat)
3 Tbsps of ghee
1 tsp of salt
1/2 c of water
Instructions:
Combine salt, flours, ghee, and enough amount of water till formed to a dough. Gently knead it for 10 to 15 mins. Shape it to a smooth ball. Allow to stand for an hour (or overnight inside the refrigerator).
Pinch off pieces from dough and form into golf-sized balls. Roll them on slightly floured surface to a (thin) circle. Do the same to the remaining balls.
Heat griddle then cook chapati for 2 to 3 mins till golden. Turn then cook on the second side for a min. Keep them warm inside a container, covered. Serve when all are done.
