Chicken Curry (I) Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 kl of breast fillets (chicken, skinless); cleaned
2 Tbsps of oil (vegetable oil)
1/2 tsp of cumin (ground)
4 pcs of cardamom seeds
2 pcs of cloves
1 pc of chile (Thai)
2 pcs of onion (medium); chopped finely
3 pcs of tomato (whole); peeled
2 tsps of soy sauce
3/4 c of water
1 tsp of ginger paste
1/4 tsp of pepper (black)
1 tsp of garlic paste
1 tsp of powdered chilli
1-1/2 tsps of garam masala
Instructions:
Heat oil and brown cardamon and cumin. Add (Thai) chile, cloves, and onion; cook till browned. Add tomatoes, (soy) sauce, and pastes; cook till mixture becomes thick.
Add powdered chili, garam masala, and black pepper; mix thoroughly. Add chicken then stir thoroughly till well-coated.
Cook them for 5 to 7 mins and add water. Continue cooking, covered, till tender or about twenty mins. Discard chile.
Garnish cilantro then serve together with rice.
