Chicken Dopiazza (Indian Chicken Curry) Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/2 lbs of chicken meat (half-cooked); cut to bite-size
2 pcs of onions (medium); sliced thinly
2 Tbsps of oil (peanut oil)
1/4 tsp of powdered garlic
1 Tbsp of coriander seeds
1/2 tsp of turmeric (ground)
1 Tbsp of cumin (ground)
1 tsp of ginger (ground)
1 Tbsp of powdered chili
1 tsp of pepper (black)
1/2 tsp of salt
A can of tomatoes
Instructions:
Fry the onions on peanut oil on a pan till golden. Add garlic, coriander, cumin, turmeric, ginger, chili, and small amount of pepper; stir thoroughly and continue to cook for a min.
Add your chicken; cook for a min while stirring constantly. Add the tomatoes and break them up using a fork. Cover enough amount of water onto the chicken; cover.
Let it boil then gently simmer it for forty-five mins. Uncover then cook gently for an hr or till meat becomes tender, while stirring occasionally so as to avoid from sticking.
