Chicken In Spicy Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
8 pcs of chicken meat (thigh, skinless)
2 Tbsps of tomato paste (canned)
2 Tbsps of chili sauce
1 pc of gingerroot (fresh, 1 inch); grated freshly
2 pcs of cloves of garlic (medium); crushed or minced
1 Tbsp of garam masala
8 oz of tomatoes (canned); drained well
2 tsps of sugar (refined)
2 Tbsps of soy sauce (light)
Juice from 1 pc of lime
Twists of zest (lemon)
Juice from 1 pc of lemon
Twists of zest (lime)
Instructions:
Rinse the chicken meat and pat them dry using a paper towel. Slash the meaty part of the chicken twice or thrice. Place them on a (non-metal) dish then set on the side.
Combine tomatoes, chili, tomato, garam masala, sugar, soy, garlic, gingerroot, and juices inside the processor; process till pureed smoothly.
Pour onto the chicken then cover. Place inside the refrigerator for 2-3 hrs, letting the flavors be absorbed by the meat.
Preheat the oven at 375 degrees F. Place the chicken with their sauce on a (roasting) pan. Cook for 45-50 mins, uncovered, till meat is tender.
Baste with its sauce twice or thrice. Serve while hot and garnish with twisted zests.
