Chicken Tikka Recipe
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs of chicken breast fillet (skinless); rinsed, dried, and cubed
Salt (to taste)
1 tsp of chili powder
2/3 c of yogurt (plain)
1 tsp of coriander seeds (ground)
2 Tbsps of juice (lime)
2 pcs of cloves of garlic (medium); crushed or minced
1 pc of ginger (fresh); grated freshly
2 Tbsps of oil
Slices of lime (to garnish)
Instructions:
Thread the cubed chicken onto (short) skewers. Place on a non-metallic dish.
Combine yogurt, garlic, gingerroot, chili powder, salt, coriander, oil, and juice; mix them well and pour onto the chickens. Turn then till coated evenly.
Refrigerate for 6 hrs or for over a night, covered. Grill the chicken then baste occasionally. Garnish with slices of lime.
