Chickpea Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
1 c of chickpeas (cooked)
2 pcs of onions (large); peeled & cut
2 pcs of dried chilies (red)
1/4 lb of ginger; cut to small pcs
3 pcs of cloves of garlic
2 Tbsps of vegetable oil
1/2 tsp of mustard powder
1/2 tsp of turmeric (ground)
1 tsp of cumin (ground)
1/4 tsp of cinnamon (ground)
Salt (to taste)
1 pc of tomato (medium); cut to small pieces
Instructions:
Place onion, ginger, mustard, cumin, and garlic inside the blender then blend till formed to paste. Heat oil on your pan above moderate heat.
Saute condiments till thickened then add the tomato. Cook it for five mins, while stirring constantly. Add the chickpeas and turn.
Add salt, two tablespoons water, turmeric, and cinnamon; stir them well. Cook them for 8-10 mins.
