Keema Pimento (Beef With Green Pepper) Recipe

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp of peanut oil
1 lg green bell pepper (cut into strips)
2 medium-sized chopped onions
1 tsp of black pepper
1/2 c of beef stock (optional)
1 tsp of cumin
2 tsp of garam masala
1 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of cinnamon; ground
1 tsp of chili (powder)
1.5 lb of beef; ground

Instructions:

Take meat and brown it. Drain then set it aside. For around a minute, fry green bell pepper strips in oil. Use holed spoon to remove them from pan.

Fry onions using the remaining oil in pan ’til they turn a golden shade of brown. Add pepper & salt to spices then mix everything with onions. Stirring constantly, cook these for around 2 minutes.

Add meat to mixture, occasionally stirring to prevent meat from sticking. Put in water or some stock if needed. Cook this for around 15 min. then mix in green bell pepper. Continue to cook this for around 10 min.

Use sliced green peppers as garnishing. Serve this with some rice plus your desired accompaniment. This serves 2.
