Malai Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
1 chicken
2 pcs of cloves
1 pc onion; chop
1 small can of tomato (paste)
1 pack of whipped cream (light)
1 pc of chili (red)
1 tsp powdered dhania
1 pc cinnamon (half inch stick)
1 pc of bay leaf
1/2 tsp powdered cumin
1 1/4 tsp powdered chili
1 tsp garam masala
2 pcs of cardamom
1 pc ginger (half inch slice); grind to paste
Dash of turmeric
6 pcs garlic pods; grind to paste
1 pc of fresh coriander
Salt to taste
Instruction:
Saute chili, the cloves, cinnamon (stick), cardamom and bay leaf then add onions and continue to saute for 2 minutes. Stir in ginger and garlic pastes and continue to cook four to six minutes more.
Pour in chicken then cook five minutes then dash with chili, powdered dhania, cumin and the turmeric. Add salt then cover (pour water when necessary) then cook fifteen minutes til almost cooked.
Mix the tomato (paste), lower heat and simmer. When ready to serve, pour whipped cream, cook several more minutes then sprinkle with garam masala then the coriander. Remove from heat then serve.
