Molahu Kozhambhu Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tsp of tamcon
4 c of water
1 tsp of rice (powder)
2 tsp of salt
1/2 can of tomatoes
1/4 tsp of hing
1 tsp of mustard (seeds)
A pinch of turmeric
1 tsp of pepper (black)
6 pcs of chilies (red)
1 Tbsp dal (chana )
1 Tbsp of dal (toor)
1 Tbsp of coriander (seeds)
1 Tbsp or grated coconut
Instruction:
Stir fry mustard (seeds) in heated oil then add water, tamcon, tomatoes, masala then salt. Bring to boil (for ten minutes) and sprinkle hing and powdered rice. Stir til thickened and simmer for minute more.
For Masala: Stirfry ingredients (exclude coconut) using very minimal oil. Stir in grated coconut then finely grind with a food processor.
