Momo Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps of oil (ghee)
1 tsp ginger; minced
1 tsp garlic; minced
1/2 c of onions; diced
1/2 tsp of garam masala
1 c of water
1/8 tsp of turmeric (powder)
1/2 tspof powdered chili
1 c tomatoes; diced
1/2 tsp vinegar (white)
1 tsp soy sauce
1 chopped scallions,
1/4 tsp of salt
2 pcs of cilantro sprigs; chopped
1/4 tsp of pepper
Instruction:
Heat the ghee in your pot. Next, add garlic, ginger and onion then stir-fry it for about 1 min. Then, add in garam masala, powdered chili and turmeric.
Stir-fry again for about 30 secs. Next, add in tomatoes then stir-fry again for about 3 more mins. Add in water.
Have mixture boiling, then reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 5 mins. Add in vinegar, salt, soy sauce and pepper. Blend well. Finish with a garnishing of cilantrol and scallions.
Best served hot.
