More Kozhambhu Recipe
Ingredients:
Pinch of turmeric
2 tsps of salt
32 ozs of yogurt
1 pc of chili (red)
1 tsp of mustard
2 tsps of desiccated coconut
1 tsp of rice
1 tsp of chili powder (red)
2 tsps of cumin (seeds)
2 tsps of coriander (seeds)
1 tsp of chana dal
Instructions:
Saute coriander and cumin, the chana dal and chili. Remove from heat. Mix coriander mixture into the desiccated coconut then blitz using food processor or blender.
Add the coriander-coconut mxture into the yogurt which as been whisked. Season with turmeric then return to fire and boil. Mix in the rice then simmer for half an hour until desired texture has been reached.
Heat up the mustard and oil then incorporate wih the rice mixture. Good for four persons.
