Navarattan Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 tsp of turmeric
1/2 tsp of chili hot powder
1/4 c of raisins
1/2 tsp of ginger powder
4 ozs of peas
1/2 tsp of coriander powder
12 pcs of almonds; blanched
1/2 tsp of cardamom powder
1/2 c of cream
2 Tbsps of yogurt
2 pcs of tomatoes
1 pc of onion (large)
2 cloves of garlic
2 Tbsps of butter
4 c of random (broccoli, peppers, cauliflowers or carrots)
1 pc of potato (large)
Instructions:
Place potatoes and random of your choice in a pot and bring to boil. Drain then set it aside. Saute garlic and onions, tomatoes, dry masala then yogurt. Simmer five minutes.
Incorporate the water, place the lid on then simmer ten minutes more. Add the peas then cream. Stir well then remove from heat. Garnish almonds and raisins on top prior to serving.
