New Sidhartha’s Bean Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
Ginger
Dash of cayenne
Garlic
1 pc of ginger; julienned
1 Tbsp of coriander (fresh)
19 ozs of peas (black eyed)
1 c of vegetable broth
3/4 c of cream (half and half)
1 tsp of garam masala
1 tsp of paprika
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of turmeric powder
1 pc of tomato (large); diced
1 tsp of ginger (fresh)
1 clove of garlic; thinly diced
1 pc of onion (large); diced
3 Tbsps of butter
Instructions:
Saute onions in butter for five minutes. Add ginger then garlic. Cook for a minute. Next add the tomatoes, and stir, cooking for two minutes. Add the turmeric, salt, cayenne, garam masala and paprika.
Next decant the cream onto the mixture and add the peas and vegetable stock. Lower heat then simmer for five minutes whilst stirring continuously.
Add the coriander plus julienned ginger roots. Serve on top of hot cooked rice, naan or chapati.
