Onion Bhaji Recipe
Ingredients:
Pinch of cayenne
2 Tbsps of cilantro (fresh); minced
1/2 tsp of cumin powder
1.5 c of flour (pea, or all purpose)
1 whole egg; whisked
2 pcs of onions
Instructions:
Slice onions to about one fourth inch thickness rings. Whisk flour with egg then add just the right amount of water in order to thin out the batter (should be the consistency of cream).
Add onions to the egg mixture then let it sit for five minutes. Deep-fry onion-rings until they are golden brown in color. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve alongside chutney.
