Pakoras (Savory Fritters) Recipe
Ingredients:
Oil
Dusting of paprika
1 sprig of spinach
1 pc of potato
3/4 tsp of salt
1 pc of onion
1/2 tsp of garam masala
1/4 tsp of pepper (red)
5 ozs of hot water
1/2 c of besan
Instructions:
Mix together 2.5 fluid ounces of water with besan until you form a batter that is thick in consistency.
Whisk for five minutes then slowly incorporate the remainder of your water. Set it aside for half an hour.
Season with pepper, garam masala then salt. Clean the onions then slice thinly. Clean the spinach then dry on paper towels. Cut potatoes to bite size pieces.
Fry vegetables until nicely golden in color. Drain on paper towels then serve while crispy.
