Palak Tofu-Paneer Recipe
Ingredients:
Oil
2 Tbsps of soy
1/4 tsp of cloves
1/4 tsp of all spice
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/2 tsp of pepper (black)
1 tsp of coriander powder
1.5 tsp of cumin powder
3/4 tsp of cayenne
2 tsps of asafetida
2 tsps of curry (powder)
2 Tbsps of ghee
6 c of tomatoes (fresh); cut into wedges
2&1/2 lbs of spinach; chopped
2 Tbsps of ghee
1/4 c of soy
1 lb of tofu; cut into cubes
Instructions:
Mix together tofu and soy inside a bowl. Let tofu absorb soy for couple minutes. Heat up oil inside wok then deep fry until the outer skin has crisped. Set aside on kitchen towels
While tofu is frying, mix ghee, tomatoes and spinach and place inside a kitchen pot then cook for ten minutes. Blend thoroughly.
In another saucepan, melt the butter then add all of your spices and soy. Blend well. Add this mixture to the spinach that is simmering. Cook few more minutes.
Take pan away from heat then add the fried tofu. Good for eight persons.
