Pan “Fried” Whole Wheat Savory Bread (Savory) Recipe 1

Ingredients:

6 tsps of oil (canola)
1 tsp of cumin powder
1/4 tsp of turmeric
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 c of cilantro; diced
1 tsp of chili (green); seeds removed then mince them up
1 tsp of ginger; diced
1 tsp of garlic; diced
1/4 c of bran (oats)
1.5 c of flour (whole wheat)

Instructions:

Preheat your griddle. Mix together oats, flour, green chili, ginger and garlic, cilantro, turmeric, cumin and sat.

Create a crater in the middle then mix in two teaspoons of oleo then mix ’till mixture is like coarse crumbs.

Slowly mix in water until you create a manageable dough. With your hands knead and then separate into eight balls of equal size. Press down each small dough to about five inch thickness.

Cook the pasty for fifteen seconds the flip to the other side then cook forty five seconds. Repeat with the rest. After all pasties have been cooked atop the griddle, deep fry each for half a minute.

Put on top of each other, cover then serve alongside chutney or pickles.
