Paneer Braised With Creamy Spinach Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
1 tsp of salt
1 c of half and half
1 pc of tomato (small); diced
2 cloves of garlic; crushed
1/4 tsp of turmeric
8 ozs of paneer
1 pc of onion (medium); minced
2 pcs of green chilies (fresh)
3 c of spinach (fresh)
2.5 Tbsps of oil (vegetable)
1 stephen ceideburg
Instructions:
Cut the paneer to bite size pieces. Broil for three minutes on each side ’till lightly golden in color. Set it aside.
Place spinach inside a steamer then cook for six minutes. Transfer to a food processor and together with ginger, garlic then chilies blitz to a smooth paste.
Saute the onion with turmeric then cook ’till onions are golden in color. Mix in the tomato, cream and spinach. Simmer ten minutes. Season with salt then add the paneer. Good for four persons.
