Paneer Patties In Orange Perfumed Cream Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
2 Tbsps of pistachios; un-salted & chopped
8 ozs of paneer
2 Tbsps of flour (all purpose)
1 Tbsp of orange rind
1 qt of cream (half and half)
1/4 c of sugar add 1 Tbsp
2 c of water
1 Stephen Ceideburg
Instructions:
Dissolve sugar in water over medium heat. Simmer twelve minutes. Blend together the remainder amount of sugar plus cream then orange rind. Bring this to boil. Simmer thirty minutes. Let it cool.
Combine together paneer and flour. Knead ’till airy. Form small balls from dough then press to make small thin patties. Poach the patties in sugar-syrup that has been simmering for two minutes.
Transfer the patties to your serving dish. Decant cream-sauce then the rest of the syrup. Place inside the fridge for eight hours. Garnish with pistachios then grate golden leaves on top.
