Potato Chops (Alu Ki Tikiya) (Vegan) Recipe
Ingredients:
1-1/2 lbs of potatoes; boiled and mashed
2 pcs of chillies (green); chopped finely
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of garam masala
or
1/2 tsp of cumin & 1/2 tsp of coriander (ground)
1 Tbsp of coriander (fresh); chopped
1 pc of onion (small); chopped finely
1/2 tsp of ginger (fresh); grated
Cooking spray
Instructions:
Combine mashed potatoes, salt, garam masala, coriander, onion, chillies, and ginger; mix thoroughly. Divide them into several portions. Shape them to (thick) flat rounds.
Spray cooking oil on a skillet and heat. Cook potato cakes for 5 mins per side till golden, undisturbed. Keep warm while cooking the remaining cakes.
