Potato Curry Recipe
Ingredients:
6 pcs of potatoes (medium); peeled and diced
3 Tbsps of oil
2 c of water
1/2 tsp of mustard (seeds)
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of cumin (seeds)
1 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp of coriander (ground)
1/2 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 c of yogurt (plain)
2/3 c of peas (cooked)
Instructions:
Heat the oil; add diced potatoes. Let it simmer, at about 2 to 3 mins. Add salt, cumin, mustard, turmeric, coriander, and cayenne; stir thoroughly.
Continue to cook for 5 to 10 mins till potatoes are crisped slightly. Add the water and reduce the heat. Simmer gently for half an hour, while stirring frequently till potatoes become soft.
Add peas and yogurt; heat mixture for 5 more mins then serve at once.
